Description

Lobster rolls are a classic seafood treat, combining tender lobster meat with a buttery roll for an unforgettable flavor experience. Perfect for summer picnics or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Lobster Meat
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Mayonnaise
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Hot Dog Rolls
  • Celery
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Fresh Herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil live lobsters in salted water for 8-10 minutes until cooked. Cool and remove the meat; chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Gently fold in chopped celery and fresh herbs into the dressing.
  4. Add the lobster meat to the mixture, combining gently without breaking it up too much.
  5. Butter both sides of the hot dog rolls and toast them in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Generously fill each toasted roll with the lobster mixture, allowing it to overflow if desired, and serve immediately.
