- 4 cups Whole Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2 tbsp Ghee (Clarified Butter)
- Chopped Nuts (Cashews & Almonds)
- Sultanas or Raisins (soaked)
Instructions
- Grate the carrots finely using a box grater or food processor.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat and sautΓ© the grated carrots for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add whole milk and simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until most liquid evaporates.
- Stir in sugar and cardamom powder; continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Mix in toasted nuts and soaked raisins before serving warm or chilled.
