  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Spices: cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger, garlic paste, spices, and salt for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Sear marinated chicken in melted butter over medium-high heat until golden brown (5 minutes each side). Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook chopped onions in more butter until translucent (5 minutes). Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and remaining spices; simmer until thickened (10-15 minutes).
  5. Return chicken to the pan; add heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer on low until cooked through (10 minutes).
