- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) whole tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Spices: cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger, garlic paste, spices, and salt for at least 30 minutes.
- Sear marinated chicken in melted butter over medium-high heat until golden brown (5 minutes each side). Set aside.
- In the same pan, cook chopped onions in more butter until translucent (5 minutes). Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and remaining spices; simmer until thickened (10-15 minutes).
- Return chicken to the pan; add heavy cream and stir to combine. Simmer on low until cooked through (10 minutes).
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with naan or rice.
